CHILD SUPPORT GUIDELINES WORKSHEETChildSupportGuidelinesChart >>

Notes/Instructions for the user.

This child support estimator is a tool to help assist in planning for various support scenarios according to Florida's child support guidelines.  It is not intended to replace comprehensive child support calculations using a proper Child Support Guidelines Worksheet.

In order to estimate child support for any given situation, you must provide (i) the number of children covered; (ii) the net incomes for both the Father and Mother; (iii) the monthly cost for daycare or afterschool care for the child(ren) and the amount paid by each party; (iv) the monthly cost for health insurance for the minor child(ren) and the amount paid by each party; and (iv) the number of yearly overnights each party spends with the child(ren).  This estimator does not provide for split-custody arrangements (such as where there are different timesharing arrangements for different children within the same household).
